Me llamo Roger Subirana. Nací el 22 de marzo de 1978 en Vilafranca del Penedès (Barcelona), donde resido en la actualidad. Mi formación musical es autodidacta, compongo música de oído y no tengo conocimientos de solfeo, a parte de mi formación musical escolar. Hello! My artistic name is Alexander Blu. I was born on 27 December 1966 in Novi Sad, Serbia. I started dealing with music when I was very young. At the age of 7, I went to Primary Music School for the piano, which I finished 6 years later.
From the very beginning I was interested mostly in composing, so that my first song was composed already at the age of 10.
During the 80's I was playing with a few rock bands, performing all over the ex Yugoslavia. It was not until the 90's that I began dealing with studio and production work professionally. At that time, I established a music studio with a friend of mine.
During the next eight years, I recorded, mixed or produced about 100 records, mostly of pop/rock and electro genre. B

Jako młody człowiek czytając artykuły, słuchając wywiadów z kompozytorami miałem mieszane uczucia co do szczerości ich wypowiedzi. Nie przemawiały do mnie słowa jakoby ich twórczość była odbiciem stanu ich wnętrza.
Minęło kilka lat i … i czuje to co oni.
Nie mogę poświęcić mojej pasji tyle czasu ile bym chciał ale kiedy po całym dniu siadam wieczorem przed instrumentem wiem, że to co płynie z głośników jest moją złością, smutkiem czy radością.

Voilà, après quelques encouragements, je me décide à publier deux albums sur Jamendo. Le premier est plus pop/rock, et le second plus électro. Je tiens à remercier les musiciens qui m'ont aidée et encouragée, et qui se reconnaitront.
Cela fait deux ans que je compose sur ordinateur, avec des petites collaborations de toutes sortes. Ma musique est généralement très douce et mélancolique. Je suis loin d'être une professionnelle, j'essaie simplement de produire des choses que j'aimerais entendre ; alors s'il vous plaît, soyez indulgents quant à la qualité inégale des compositions et des mixages.. et espérons que la passion saura me faire progresser.
J'espère que vous me ferez une petite place dans le monde trop étroit des composit(rices?) de MAO (quand les gens écoutent ma musique, ils sont souvent étonnés d'apprendre que c'est de moi, culture de machos!), et que ma modeste contribution pourra séduire au moins quelques-uns d'entre vous ^_^
