I've been making music on and off since the early 80's. My mate and myself started off with a couple of Casio VL-Tones, a GEM organ and a fabulous two-track tape recorder made by Tensai, which had an inbuilt preset beatbox. It was wonderful. Our equipment improved and we recorded loads of music and had reviews in a few magazines. Anyone remember Electronics & Music Maker? No, didn't think you would. They hated us, BTW!

I started making music again, circa 2001. I bought myself a midi keyboard and a copy of Cubase and took it from there really. Now I use FL Studio 6.08 with a Korg MicroKontrol and lots of VSTi's.

I tend to make two kinds of music - the ambient/chilly sort and the up-tempo synthpop sort.
